Time Break is the complete match clock for chessboxing: the sport that combines the physical intensity of boxing with the mental precision of chess.
Run a full chessboxing match with alternating chess and boxing rounds, each with their own separate timers. Or switch to pure chess mode for a classic game, or pure boxing mode for a standalone fight. Time Break handles it all from one clean setup screen.
Chess clock: Each player gets their own timer. Tap your side of the screen to pass the clock. Fischer increment supported. Add seconds mid-game (+5, +10, +15) if a player needs extra time, pause the game, or rollback a move.
Boxing rounds: A shared countdown fills the screen during boxing rounds. Interval countdowns separate each round. Soundtrack your intervals with custom music from the Sounds menu.
Flexible formats
- Full chessboxing: up to 6 chess rounds alternating with boxing
- Pure chess: no boxing, no round caps, just player clocks
- Pure boxing: no chess turns, straight boxing rounds
- Configure the number of rounds (2 to 6)
- Setup remembers your last configuration automatically
Chessnut board integration: Connect a Chessnut e-board via Bluetooth. The clock switches automatically on legal moves. Illegal pieces light up. Undo the last move and roll back the clock. Full PGN saved at match end.
Game history: Every finished match is saved locally — date, winner, times reached, and round. Review your history any time from the home screen.
Designed for the table: Large, readable timers. Blue and Red corners. Round and phase always visible. Works on phone and tablet. No account required, no internet needed.
