Airwave: Live TV

Turn it on and see what's on. Airwave turns the movies, shows, and music you already own into persistent, scheduled live-TV channels with a real program guide. Stop scrolling a wall of titles — tune in, and something's already on. Airwave is server-first. You run the Airwave server next to your media, and it owns your channels, schedules, packages, and users. Apple TV, iPad, Android TV, Fire TV, LG webOS, Roku, and the browser all tune into the same network: the same channels, the same guide, and the same program at the same point in its schedule, on every screen in your home. Set it up once on the server; every device just tunes in. THE PART CABLE GOT RIGHT - A live program guide built entirely from your own libraries - Programs join live at the point implied by the clock, so the schedule feels shared and already in motion - A now/next featured panel and a live now-line that tracks the moment - Channel surfing that keeps the current program playing while you look - Filter the guide by favorites, recents, or package A DVR THAT GOES BACKWARD - Seek back across program boundaries into earlier shows - Restart the current program from the beginning - Jump into something that aired earlier and keep watching forward - LIVE is the upper bound: go back through the channel, never past what's airing now - Resume where you left off when you return BUILD YOUR OWN NETWORK (on the Airwave server) - Channels from Plex metadata filters, collections, playlists, or hand-picked media - A deterministic scheduling engine: group episodes by show, rotate between shows, build marathons, use count- or duration-based blocks, and enforce no-repeat windows - Auto-generate a full lineup from presets, or shape each channel's order, tint, and icon - Optional AI-assisted channel and lineup creation (bring your own key) - Bumpers and ambient music between programs — Airwave never inserts third-party ads BUILT FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE - Packages and per-user access: give each viewer their own set of channels - Favorites and recents - The same lineup and guide on every device, kept in sync by the server PLAYBACK THAT RESPECTS THE ROUTE - 4K HDR direct-play (HEVC, HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision) with automatic transcode fallback - Per-connection video and audio quality - Local, remote, and relay Plex connections, so it works at home and away - Audio, subtitle, and quality selection, with subtitle burn-in - Runtime device capability diagnostics choose direct-play vs transcode per device THE FINE PRINT, PLAINLY Airwave does not provide or host any movies, shows, or channels. Every program comes from the Plex library on the server you run. Airwave requires a self-hosted Airwave server connected to Plex. The server, admin, and browser player are free and source-available to self-host; this prebuilt app is a small paid convenience. Plex does the hosting. Airwave does the programming. Airwave is not affiliated with Plex.
