FreeDive Ultra detects every descent, tracks depth, time, and temperature second by second, and starts a recovery timer with live heart rate the moment you surface. Save GPS locations as you go and navigate to your favourite dive sites from your wrist. Your swim route is mapped by GPS in the background, ready to view on iPhone after the dive. The Digital Crown scrolls between live data screens: depth, recovery, descent & ascent speed, compass, save location, dive spot navigation and session stats.

THE FULL FREEDIVE ULTRA EXPERIENCE
The moment you descend, tracking begins. Depth, dive time, and water temperature update every second. The watch switches to Live Dive automatically, no interaction needed.

WHEN YOU SURFACE
The watch switches to Recovery automatically. A timer counts your surface interval the moment you break the water, alongside your live heart rate. You know exactly how long you've been breathing and when you're ready for the next dive. Scroll the Crown to check your session stats, save a location, or navigate to your next dive spot.

POOL AND DRY TRAINING
Pool mode counts every length and totals your distance automatically. Dry mode guides your breathe-up and tracks your personal best, anywhere you are.

BACK ON LAND
Sessions sync automatically to iPhone. At a glance you see the big picture: dive count, max depth, longest dive, session time, plus your health data (calories, heart rate, and duration) synced to Apple Fitness via HealthKit.

Your swim route is plotted on a map with total distance, entry and exit points, and any locations you saved during the session, captured from surface GPS fixes when your watch is above water.

Add photos, log ocean conditions (visibility, current, surface), write notes, and rate the session.

Session Charts show your heart rate, depth, and water temperature across the full session. Drag any chart to see live values for that moment across all three.

Then go deeper. Every individual dive gets its own depth profile chart with second-by-second depth and temperature, descent and ascent times, descent and ascent rates, and surface heart rate. The detail you need to understand each dive and track your progress over time.

DEPTH
Depth reading is capped at 6 metres while we work with Apple on the full 40m entitlement. Every other feature works identically at any depth.
