  Worst Policies ever

  Very disappointing trade-in and refund experience. I recently purchased an iPhone 18 Pro Max and paid using $450 in Apple Gift Cards plus $1,008 on my credit card. I then traded in my iPhone 14 Pro Max and received a trade-in value of $360. What frustrated me is that the entire $360 was returned as Apple Gift Card credit instead of being refunded to my credit card. I had already paid more than $1,000 through my credit card, so as a customer I expected the trade-in value to at least be refunded toward that payment. Apparently, Apple applies trade-in credit back to the gift-card portion first when multiple payment methods are used. This may be part of their policy, but it was not clearly communicated to me during the purchase and trade-in process. This defeats much of the purpose of a trade-in for customers who may not want to continue buying Apple products. Instead of getting usable money back, you can end up with hundreds of dollars locked into the Apple ecosystem. I am also not very satisfied with the new iPhone itself, which makes this experience even more frustrating. If I decide to move away from Apple in the future, what am I supposed to do with hundreds of dollars in Apple Gift Cards? Apple should make this policy extremely clear before customers complete a trade-in, especially when they are paying with a combination of gift cards and credit/debit cards. Customers deserve to know exactly where their trade-in money will go before handing over their old device. Very disappointed with the overall experience.

  This is the worst app I’ve ever tried to use

  You download an Apple Store app and you can’t even find where to buy Apple products. All it gives you is apps and software and doesn’t understand anything you put in the search. This is absolutely ridiculous. Getting so tired of Apple they can’t create working software. Everything always has bugs in it and the new computers like studio and mini already have major problems. It just seems ongoing problem for decades….
