Ai Summarizer: Research Paper

来自 App Store 来源

Read research papers with a structured abstract beside the PDF, written by an AI model that runs entirely on your Mac. AI Summarizer: Research Paper turns any academic PDF into three short sections – Overview, Goal and Findings – set out like the abstract of a journal, right next to the paper. In about a minute you know what the paper is about, what it tries to show and what it found, with the PDF at hand to check. Then ask it your own questions. WHAT'S NEW IN 2.0 • Questions on the paper – ask anything about the article in a field below the summary. Answers appear as they are written, cite the page, and stay with the paper. After the first reading, follow-up answers start almost instantly. • A redesigned reading view – the paper on the left, its structured abstract on the right: title, authors, three sections you can select and copy, and a dateline that records when the paper was added and how long the analysis took. • Search in the PDF – find a term in the paper with ⌘F, with a result count and next/previous. • Smaller, faster, lighter – a new native engine and a new language model: the app is about 15 times smaller (43 MB instead of 700 MB), peak memory use is down about 30 %, and text generation is about 1.6 times faster. An analysis now takes seconds, not minutes. • Better summaries – the new model and rewritten instructions give more accurate, better-structured Overview, Goal and Findings. • A clearer start – the one-time model download shows its progress, loading shows how long it usually takes, and if anything is interrupted the app offers to try again or re-download. KEY FEATURES • Three-part summary – Overview, Goal and Findings for any research paper PDF, ready to read or to copy into your notes. • Questions on the paper – follow up on a result, a method or a limitation without leaving the paper. • Private by design – every step runs on your Mac. No account, no upload: your PDFs never leave your machine. • Works offline – after the first launch, no internet connection is needed. • One-time purchase – no subscription, no usage quota, no hidden costs. • Native macOS app – toolbar search, keyboard shortcuts, text selection and copy, resizable split view, dark interface designed for long reading sessions. REQUIREMENTS • macOS 15 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon; 16 GB of memory recommended. • About 3 GB of free disk space for the AI model, downloaded once at first launch. • Analysis time depends on the paper's length and your Mac: a few seconds on recent Macs, up to a minute on older ones. Discover a calmer way to study: privacy-first, offline summaries that turn dense papers into a clear abstract you can question.
