The app behind the boring work that frees the sea. Ocean plastic is an infrastructure problem. And infrastructure needs systems, people and a lot of boring stuff getting done properly. This app is one of those things. Used by the people running Free The Sea’s operations, it connects the pillars across our waste management network: from the moment a household hands over its plastic to what happens to that material at our Material Recovery Facility. Through this app: - Households can keep track of their plastic contributions and collection history. - Plastic Keepers running Material Hubs register household contributions and manage local collections. - Truck drivers record pickups and the movement of collected material. - MRF operators register incoming material. This way, we make sure plastic stays in the system and out of the sea. Because boring works. Boring gets stuff done. Boring frees the sea.
