InboxFox - Local Email Tester

来自 App Store 来源

InboxFox is a native macOS application designed for developers who need to test and debug email functionality in their applications. Instead of sending test emails to real addresses or configuring complex mail server setups, simply point your application's SMTP settings to InboxFox and instantly capture, view, and analyze every email your application generates. Why InboxFox? During development, testing email functionality is often painful. You either send emails to real addresses (risky and slow), use cloud-based services (requires internet and account setup), or run Docker containers (heavy and complex). InboxFox provides a lightweight, native macOS solution that runs locally with zero configuration. Perfect For: • Web developers testing contact forms, password resets, and notifications • Backend engineers validating email templates and content • QA teams verifying email workflows without sending real messages • Anyone building applications that send email How It Works: 1. Start InboxFox and note the SMTP port (default: 1025) 2. Configure your application to send emails to localhost on that port 3. Send a test email from your application 4. Instantly view the captured email in InboxFox Key Capabilities: • Instant Capture: Emails appear immediately as your application sends them • Multiple Views: See HTML rendered, plain text, raw headers, and source • Quality Checks: Automated analysis scores your emails for deliverability, compatibility, and accessibility issues • Attachment Support: View and preview email attachments with Quick Look • Organized Mailboxes: Emails are organized by the authenticated username, making it easy to test multi-tenant applications • Search & Filter: Quickly find emails by subject, sender, or content Built for macOS: InboxFox is a true native macOS application built with SwiftUI. It's fast, lightweight, and integrates perfectly with your Mac. No Electron, no web views for the UI, no bloat. Privacy First: All emails are stored locally on your Mac. Nothing is ever sent to external servers. Your test data stays on your machine.
