Comic Vision is a comic and manga reader for Apple Vision Pro, built in the spirit of ComicRack, a real library manager for people who want to keep a collection organized and get a great reading experience. Build your library from local files, or connect to your own self-hosted library over OPDS and browse, stream, and read without keeping everything on the headset. Supports CBZ, CBR, ZIP, RAR, and PDF. Your library: - Local file library, your books stay on your device - Connect a self-hosted library over OPDS: browse and search the catalog, save it as a list, stream a book over OPDS-PSE, or download it for offline reading Reading: - Open comics and manga in their own window, side by side if you like - Dismissible reader UI that gets out of the way. When hidden, only the pages are in front of you - Optional 3D page turn animation - Right-to-left reading for manga, left-to-right for comics - Vertical reading mode for webtoon-style comics, manga, and manhwa - Gaze to scroll and gaze to turn page - Remembers your window size across sessions Find and organize: - Search across your whole library: titles, series, publishers, creators, characters, and tags - Filter builder for the questions a single search can't ask, with AND/OR rules and filtering on linked fields (like a comic's author or publisher) - Custom lists: hand-picked manual lists and smart lists that keep themselves up to date, for any entity type, organized into folders - Library views for every entity type (All Comics, All Series, All Publishers, All Authors, and more) - A Continue Reading card that surfaces your last book, or the next issue when you finish one Cataloguing: - Metadata entry for individual books - Naming conventions that pull metadata from your folder and file names with a regex pattern, so series, volume, and chapter numbers fill in automatically, with a live preview and one-pass application across your library - Per-page controls and metadata (add notes, adjust page rotation, set page type, and control whether a single image is actually a double-page spread) - Bulk metadata editing (assign series, authors, publishers, or other relations across many books at once) Learn more at https://comicvision.app. Comic Vision is in active development.
