LokMe App Store Description Version: 1.1 LokMe is a macOS menu-bar utility that creates a full-screen visual privacy overlay for your Mac. Turn it on from the menu bar, choose an animated background, customize the clock, and close the overlay with local macOS authentication when you are ready to return to your desktop. LokMe is designed for people who want a clean, branded, animated screen while stepping away from their computer, presenting a workstation, or keeping casual screen visibility reduced. It is not a replacement for the official macOS Lock Screen, FileVault, or your system security settings. Native implementation improvements: LokMe is now a native Swift/Metal implementation of the Vanta animation effects used by the app. The Vanta.js effect files were converted and rebuilt for macOS instead of bundling the original JavaScript runtime. Animation credits and origin: LokMe's Vanta-style animation effects began with Vanta.js, the open-source animated background project by Teng Bao and contributors. The original Vanta.js project provides JavaScript/WebGL animation effects rendered with three.js or p5.js. Vanta.js is credited for the original animation effect concepts and source inspiration. Vanta.js is distributed under the MIT License, and LokMe includes third-party notices and the Vanta MIT license text in the app bundle. The goal behind LokMe is to provide Mac users with a stylish and lightweight way to protect their screen visually while keeping the experience easy to control from the menu bar.
