Runners Widget for GitLab* (support for other CI providers currently under development) lives quietly in your macOS menu bar and tells you — at a glance — whether your CI runners are healthy,
idle, or in trouble. No browser tab. No dashboard refresh. Just a single, color-coded dot that shifts the moment something
changes.
Built natively in Swift 6 and SwiftUI, GitLab Widget is fast, lightweight, and respects your machine. It uses zero
third-party dependencies, runs sandboxed, and never sends your data anywhere except the GitLab instance you choose.

• Sign in with GitLab (OAuth)
One-click authentication on gitlab.com — no need to manually generate a Personal Access Token. Tokens refresh
automatically in the background. Prefer a PAT? That works too, for self-hosted GitLab instances.
• Self-hosted friendly
Point GitLab Widget at any GitLab instance — gitlab.com, your company's self-hosted GitLab, or anything in between.
• VPN-aware polling
If your GitLab instance lives behind a corporate VPN, GitLab Widget can be configured to pause polling automatically
when the VPN is down — saving battery and avoiding noisy errors.
• Wake-from-sleep refresh
As soon as your Mac wakes up, GitLab Widget refreshes immediately so you're never looking at stale data.
• Configurable refresh interval
Choose how often the app polls GitLab — from a few seconds to several minutes — to match your workflow.
• Launch at login
Optionally start with macOS so your runners are always being watched.
• Secure by default
All credentials are stored in the macOS Keychain. The app runs in App Sandbox with network-client-only entitlements. No analytics**. No tracking.

If you ship code through GitLab CI, you already know the moments that matter: a runner going offline mid-pipeline, a build
queue stalling, a self-hosted runner silently dropping. GitLab Widget surfaces those moments before they become incidents
— without forcing you to context-switch.
It's the tool we built because we wanted it ourselves. Minimal, native, and out of your way until the second it isn't.
