Where Are You Now
Where Are You Now? helps you stay loosely in touch with people you care about — by sharing which country you’re in, not where you are on a map. Invite a friend with a link. Once you’re connected, you’ll each see the other’s country, flag, local time, and time zone. When someone crosses a border, their country updates automatically — about once a day — and you can see where they’ve been over time. Built for privacy • Country only — we never store or show your precise GPS location • Coarse location is used only to determine your country • No ads, no selling your data • Sign in with a passkey — just pick a name, no email or password What you can do • Invite friends with a simple share link • See everyone on a friends list with flags and local times • View friends on a world map (by country, not street level) • Check time zones and how far ahead or behind someone is • Browse each friend’s country history when they travel • Manually refresh your country after a trip Who it’s for Friends spread across time zones, family living abroad, travel buddies, or anyone who wants a light “where in the world are you?” without live tracking. Location access is used to detect your country in the background. You can turn it off anytime in Settings. Privacy policy: https://whererunow.xyz/privacy
