Shieldio - Wi-Fi Security Scanner is a comprehensive Wi-Fi security scanner and network toolset, offering 8 distinct security checks including encryption, captive portal, DNS integrity, proxy detection, VPN status, HTTPS validation, IPv6, and network type, each graded with an A-F rating. It features a Speed Test for measuring download/upload speeds and ping using Cloudflare's CDN, and a TCP Ping tool to check any host with average, minimum, and maximum latency statistics. The app includes a Port Scanner that checks 20 popular ports with parallel scanning capabilities, alongside Network Info providing local/external IP, gateway, subnet mask, DNS, and VPN status. All scan history is automatically saved on the device, with a 3-screen onboarding process. Shieldio operates entirely on-device using URLSession, NWConnection, and POSIX sockets, with no subscriptions or external API dependencies.
