Ten themed collections, four sizes, and a board that is pleasant to sit with. TEN THEMES TO WANDER THROUGH Trees. Birds. Garden. Weather. Kitchen. Seashore. Autumn. Wildflowers. Mountains. Baking. Each theme carries its own vocabulary, so a Birds puzzle feels like birds and a Baking puzzle feels like baking. FOUR SIZES, FOUR MOODS Stroll is eight by eight, forwards only. A few minutes. Ramble is ten by ten and adds diagonals. Trek is twelve by twelve and starts hiding words backwards. Expedition is fourteen by fourteen with all eight directions, and it will take a while. THE LETTERS ACTUALLY HIDE Most word searches fill the empty squares with random letters, which is why the hidden words seem to glow at you. English does not use its letters evenly, so a random fill looks nothing like real text and the answers stand out. Here the filler follows the letter frequencies of each theme's own vocabulary. The words genuinely blend in, and finding one feels earned. EASY ON THE FINGERS Touch the first letter and drag to the last. The selection snaps to whichever direction you are nearest, so you do not have to trace a perfect line on a small screen.
