  Billing Needs Improvement

  My experience with Brightwheel’s billing support has been extremely frustrating. Brightwheel allows a daycare/provider to mark a child inactive while invoices can continue generating afterward. In my situation, my child was no longer attending,he was marked inactive, yet invoices continued to be generated on the account. I was trying to have the account and billing activity properly corrected. Brightwheel’s system provides providers with the ability to deactivate billing plans and void invoices, but as a parent, I found that I had very limited options to address the issue directly through Brightwheel when the provider had not properly stopped the billing activity. Another concern is payment information. Brightwheel allows parents to manage or remove payment methods under certain circumstances, but if the provider requires autopay, the parent may not be able to remove the payment method without the provider first disabling that requirement. I believe there should be clearer protections and options for parents once a child is no longer enrolled so that they aren’t left dealing with continued invoices or potential charges. I also tried to get more clarity directly from Brightwheel, but I was only able to interact with an AI bot, which was not helpful for my specific situation. I wasn’t looking for someone to decide a billing dispute for me. I simply wanted to understand what Brightwheel could do on the platform side and have the account handled appropriately. I understand that the daycare controls its own billing decisions, but there should be a clearer process for parents to address billing-system issues when a child is no longer enrolled. I hope Brightwheel considers improving this process so parents aren’t left trying to resolve ongoing invoices or payment issues after their child has withdrawn.

  Glitchy after the new update updates

  Edit: developers, I never received a help ticket. I usedthe AI chat help and they provided a link. When I submitted my request I never received follow up on that either. Hi. I already submitted a help ticket a couple of weeks ago and haven’t heard back from anyone. The last couple of updates have caused my app to be glitchy. I am a provider. The app is not letting me finish inputting or editing information before it jumps off to a mostly white screen where the only option is “Add activity”.
