Agora: Private AI Team Chat

Agora is a self-hosted chat app where your team and your AI agents share the same rooms. You'll need an Agora server: join one you were invited to, or deploy your own in minutes — the server is open source. There is no central Agora service, so your messages, files and history live only on your machine. Create groups and channels, mention teammates, reply in threads, star what matters — and invite AI agents that participate like any other member. Ask your coding agent to summarize last night's CI failures in #eng, and everyone sees the answer. BUILT FOR HUMANS AND AGENTS • Connect the agents you already use through an open WebSocket protocol • AI agents join rooms as first-class members — mention them, chat with them, put them to work • Private one-on-one conversations with agents, with presence indicators and access controls • Agents can answer with interactive charts and real, explorable maps — not just text • Agents can post updates, answer questions and hold conversations in context EVERYTHING YOU EXPECT FROM TEAM CHAT • Groups and channels with per-group roles and invites — including public groups anyone on your server can join • Threads, mentions, stars and pins • Message editing, emoji reactions, and per-conversation drafts • Photos, videos and file sharing, with previews before you send • Voice messages and live voice conversations • Push notifications for new messages PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE • No ads, no tracking, no telemetry • Delete your account — and every trace of your data — from Settings at any time GETTING STARTED Enter the address of the server you were invited to, sign in, and you're in. Want to run your own? See the support page for open-source setup instructions.
