About

From the App Store Source
Your disk is full again — and you know it's the render files. Vacuum shows every Final Cut Pro library on every drive, exactly what's safe to delete, and reclaims the space in one click. Gigabytes, even Terabytes — and your originals stay untouched. Free to download: scanning and the full space breakdown cost nothing, forever. A single one-time purchase unlocks cleaning — no subscription. WHY NOT JUST USE FINAL CUT PRO'S BUILT-IN DELETE? Final Cut Pro can delete generated files — one library at a time, with the library open, and without telling you how much you'll get back. Vacuum scans all your drives at once and shows what every library really costs: render files, proxies, optimized media, analysis caches and backups, per category. It finds the libraries you forgot, the duplicates, and the orphaned auto-backups Final Cut Pro never shows you. And unlike a manual purge, every cleanup comes with a safety net and one-click undo. TRY IT ON ONE LIBRARY Nothing is ever hard-deleted. Everything goes to the macOS Trash: run a cleanup, open your project in Final Cut Pro, check that all is well — and only then empty the Trash. If post-cleanup validation finds anything wrong, Vacuum restores the library metadata automatically. SAFE BY DESIGN Every cleanup passes a multi-gate safety pipeline: cleanup is blocked while Final Cut Pro is running, only known regenerable file types qualify, your Original Media is structurally excluded with no opt-out, cache files shared with another library are flagged first, and an APFS snapshot of the library metadata is taken before anything moves. NEVER LOSE A FILE Every operation is logged. Restore cleaned files in one click from the built-in history, as long as they remain in the Trash. FIND WHAT'S HIDING • Duplicate libraries across volumes — matched by name and structure, content-verified with SHA-256 on demand. • Orphaned auto-backups whose source library was moved or deleted — even on offline drives. • Interrupted cleanups — leftover snapshots are detected at launch; restore or discard in one click. FULLY LOCALIZED English, Nederlands, Deutsch, Français, and Español — including the built-in Help Book. PRIVACY FIRST No account. No analytics. No telemetry. No network access. Fully sandboxed — nothing ever leaves your Mac.
