From the App Store SourceFollow a storm. Learn a Chahta word. See your world from a new perspective. Mahli Chito is a Choctaw-based weather app that brings everyday forecasts, living language, and a world of discovery together. Check the weather before you head out, follow changing skies, then pull back from your hometown to explore Earth and the solar system. MAKE THE FORECAST YOUR OWN Start with the conditions around you and the outlook for your day. Find a better window for outdoor plans, follow the next round of rain, and keep the places you care about close in Yakni (My Places). Current Location follows you as you travel; saved places stay where you put them. SEE WEATHER IN MOTION Watch storms move across national radar. Scrub through global temperatures and wind, or explore NOAA satellite imagery in GeoColor, Infrared, Water Vapor, and True Color. Shared timeline controls, colorful country outlines, and a north-up globe make exploring feel natural. Zoom from your city to your state, country, and planet, then return home with the location button. LOOK BEYOND EARTH Keep zooming to discover our solar system. See the Sun, Moon, planets, and stars placed using astronomy calculations, with day and night lighting that follows the live sky. Move into Solar from Radar, Temperature, Wind, or Satellite and find your way back to Earth. A familiar forecast can be the start of a much bigger journey. BRING CHAHTA INTO YOUR DAY Meet a weather-related Chahta (Choctaw) word when you open the app. Listen to its pronunciation, explore its meaning, and return to the same word throughout your visit. Small moments of learning give the weather a deeper connection to language and place. STAY CONNECTED TO YOUR SKY Official U.S. weather alerts, hourly and 10-day forecasts, local briefings, Environmental Health, Daily Sky imagery, and Hvshi's sun-and-moon experience help you look ahead. Widgets, Apple Watch, and Live Activities keep useful weather close. A fresh animated intro welcomes you into it all. Every functional weather feature is free. An optional subscription removes banner ads. Radar and Future Radar cover the contiguous United States. Global Temperature and Wind maps cover the world; satellite imagery and other features follow their source coverage and availability. Forecast maps and Future Radar are guidance, not observations or official warnings. True Color history uses daily observations. Official alerts are provided by the U.S. National Weather Service. Rain-accumulation notifications are available in Oklahoma. During dangerous weather, follow official warnings and local emergency instructions.
