About

From the App Store Source
RegexShelf Desk is a paid, local-first Mac utility for validating regular expressions without sending sample text to a website. Build patterns, run live matches, inspect ranges and capture groups, preview replacement templates, save useful expressions to a local pattern shelf, and copy validation, edge-case replay, or replacement QA reports for scripts, tickets, docs, or code review notes. Use RegexShelf Desk to: - Test regular expressions locally on your Mac - Toggle ignore case, line anchors, and dot-matches-newlines behavior - Replay sample lines before handoff with pass count and missed-case risk - Inspect each match with range and capture groups - Review a validation report with match count, captured groups, first match range, and replacement readiness - Review Replacement QA with changed-line counts, preview size, first output line, and handoff decision - Copy validation, replay, and replacement QA reports for handoff or review - Preview replacement output before using it elsewhere - Copy patterns and replacement previews - Save a local shelf of trusted patterns RegexShelf Desk is intentionally local and manual. It does not require an account, does not use cloud sync, and does not transmit patterns or sample text to Gobling Company or any third party.
