Cloud monitoring is strictly opt-in: only endpoints you flip into Cloud mode reach our Cloudflare Workers proxy, request bodies and custom headers are encrypted per-user, and aggregate alerts contain only a count — never endpoint names or URLs. LIMITATIONS WORTH KNOWING On-device checks only run while the app is open — iOS doesn't let third-party apps poll endpoints continuously in the background. Cloud monitoring fixes that gap on your tier's cadence. PingOps is for quick, glanceable answers — not enterprise-grade synthetic monitoring.
